Sustainable Cities Workshop Held in Northern Cyprus

The Sustainable Cities Workshop, organized by the İKSAD Urbanization Council, was successfully held on December 13-14, 2025, in Northern Cyprus under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Banu Öztürk.

The workshop addressed topics such as green spaces and carbon footprints, urban lighting systems, and sustainable tourism in cities, along with the challenges brought by urbanization.

We extend our gratitude to all the scholars who participated and shared their knowledge and expertise. This significant event provided a valuable platform for developing solution-oriented approaches toward sustainable cities.
