25 September 2024- As part of the Discover Anatolia Project, aimed at promoting the ancient civilization hub of Harran, the 6th International Harran Congress took place on September 23-24, 2024, in Şanlıurfa. The congress featured both online and in-person sessions, bringing together scholars from various disciplines over the course of two days.
Throughout the congress, the historical, cultural, and archaeological significance of Harran was discussed, with academic presentations and panel discussions enriching the event. Experts and researchers contributed to the sessions, which attracted considerable attention for tracing the legacy of civilizations and highlighting the importance of Harran.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participating scientists and contributors for their valuable input, and we look forward to continued scientific gatherings of this nature in the future.
